We know that keeping employees healthy and productive is vitally important to building thriving companies.  Analyses by the Rand Corporation and others reveal that wellness coaching can improve employee health, enhance career satisfaction, increase engagement, and boost retention and performance. We work with businesses to craft coaching and wellness programs tailored to the needs of their employees and designed to help each employee make long-lasting changes to reach their professional and personal goals.

Group Coaching

Group Coaching

We know that it can be especially challenging for busy professionals to find time to talk to others in similar circumstances, and to benefit and learn from others seeking to make lifestyle or career changes.  Group sessions allow clients space to cultivate change in a friendly, supportive environment.  For these reasons, Thrivewell Coaching puts together small group sessions — where clients meet either weekly or bi-weekly — for a set number of weeks.  Each session focuses on a particular stage in the process of behavior change and includes reflection, hands-on exercises, and group discussion.  We regularly organize these groups, but can also create one for you.  If you are interested in finding out about our next group session or creating your own group, please contact us.

Workshops & Presentations

Workshops & Presentations

Thrivewell Coaching is available to conduct structured workshops for large groups or present to your group.  Workshops and presentations are customized for each audience, but can address a range of topics of organizational interest. Sample Topics include: “Reshuffle and Reprogram to Reduce Stress,” a program aimed at identifying stressors and discussing practical strategies for reducing stress to improve quality of life; “Parenting with Presence,” an interactive workshop focused on helping parents stay calm, cool, and connected to their children; and “Self-Care for Lawyers.”  We look forward to developing a customized workshop for your group.

Through one-on-one coaching, we guide our clients through a process to help them learn more about themselves so they can identify what is most important to them, define their goals, and create actionable strategies to achieve them.  We ask powerful questions that provide opportunities for self-awareness and invite reflection and new perspectives.  We work as a team to help clients plan for meaningful change, set realistic and practical goals and action steps, and achieve successful action.

Coaching is tailored to each individual client. We provide clients with the support, confidence, and accountability to make desired changes and sustain accomplishments.  We know from academic research that changing habits or behaviors is challenging, even when people are highly motivated, and that changes can sometimes be overwhelming or frightening.  As experts in behavior change, we help clients build their confidence, identify the obstacles that may arise, and plan to overcome them.

  • Reducing and managing stress
  • Finding time to take care of yourself
  • Making lifestyle changes to improve your health, such as losing weight, improving diet, or improving quality of sleep
  • Navigating career transitions, breaks, and re-entry

  • Increasing daily effectiveness and time management
